Morgan Philips was awarded with the 2022 Asia-Pacific Human Resources Services Award: The Most Influential Executive Search Firm, and was invited to attend the 18th China Human Resources Service Summit Forum held in Shenzhen on the 5th and 6th November to discuss "Searching for Change": New Talent Strategies and High-Quality Development in HR Services.
China Human Resources Service Summit Forum was founded by Nie Youcheng, executive director of Asia-Pacific Talent Service Academy (APTSA), under the guidance of the Chinese Academy of Personnel Science and RUC School of Labor and Human Resources, with the support of the China Association of Foreign Service Trades, Beijing Human Resources Service Industry Association, Shanghai Human Resources Consulting Association, Guangdong Human Resources Association and Shenzhen Human Resources Association. Since 2004, it has been successfully held for 17 sessions, 7 of which are the most important sections of the Conference on International Exchange of Professionals (CIEP). The 18th China Human Resources Service Summit Forum held this year has been included in the main section of the 20th CIEP.
Wendy Xu, Consulting Manager of the Shenzhen Office at Morgan Philips Group, attended the award ceremony and gave a speech on the topic of “Talent Trends in the Hybrid Age - How to Help Employers Retain and Recruit the Future Business Leader”. Wendy presented the new talent trends across Greater China region, gender equality in the workplace, hiring and retaining in hybrid workforce times. Besides, David NG, Regional Managing Director of Asia at Morgan Philips Group, also presented virtually to share his insights on the Asian talent trends and global talent sustainability.
In November 2021, the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security, and other four departments jointly issued the Opinions on Promoting the Quality Development of Human Resources Service Industry in the New Era, defining a new and important position for the human resources service industry — an integral part of the modern services industry in view of the economic and social development, specifying that "focus on the development of executive search services and improvement in its recruitment mechanism." The human resources service industry in China has ushered in the best period of development.
